SDS-Polyacrylamide Gel Electrophoresis

Sodium dodecyl sulfate polyacrylamide (SDS) gels are available in standard and mini-gel format (linear and gradient format).  Typically, we utilize the classic Laemmli formulations for all gels and all gels are handmade.  We use the GE Healthcare Tall Mighty Small units for our mini-gels and the Hoefer SE600 for our mid-sized gels.  We can, and often do, prepare custom gels for our clients needs and are wholly versed in using specialized gel recipes for myosin isomer separations (SDS-PAGE) as well as Tricine and Urea gels.  Please contact us for your special needs.  Also, please see our Protocols page for recipes and procedures for pouring your own homemade gels.
