Policy:

The PCL operates as a fee-for-service core facility and accepts samples on a first come, first serve basis. Please Email us to set up an initial project meeting (see Contacts). If you are an EXTERNAL (non-TAMU) please contact the lab directly for instructions on how to submit samples.
Fees apply in the case of undesired results that are due to the nature of the submitted sample. Incomplete or failed results due to instrument failure do not apply.
International payments can be made by direct wire transfer.  Please contact the PCL for further information.
Payment will be expected within 30 days of billing notification.

Timetables are different for the various services:
Amino Acid Analysis: 5 – 10 working days depending upon number of samples and specialized handling
Mass Determination (MALDI-TOF): 5 working days
Mass Determination (ESI): 5 – 10 working days
Protein ID (PMF): 5 working days
Protein ID (LC/MS/MS): 10-20 working days
