The instrument operates in linear and reflector modes and is capable of Top Down and Bottom Up protein sequencing. In addition, with attachments that we have, the Ultraflextreme is capable of Imaging Mass Spectrometry.

A high-performance gel and blot imager. The imager has powerful laser excitation sources and high-quality confocal optics that allow for the sensitive detection of low-abundance targets. Red, Green and Blue excitation wavelengths (488 nm, 532 nm, 633 nm) and a wide choice of emission filters enable imaging of an extensive variety of fluorophores. The 9500 is also useful for Storage Phosphor Autoradiography, Chemiluminescence and Chemifluorescence detection.

Lab bench with a HPLC Modell 1260 Infinity next to PC with control software

Agilent 1260 liquid chromatograph with “OpenLabs” software that controls the LC and collects, analyzes and reports the data. Instrument consists of the autosampler (G1367E), Multiple Wavelength detector (G1365D) and fluorometric detector (G1321B)

Circular Dichroism Spectroscopy, Jasco J-1500 CD Spectrometer, Lab bench, work place

The CD spectrophotometer is equipped with a software-controlled magnetic stirrer and a Peltier cell holder, facilitating temperature-controlled measurements from 0 to 100 degrees Celsius. The cell holder accommodates cuvettes with pathlengths of 10, 5, 2, 1, and sub-1 mm, allowing for flexibility in experimental design.

ISS Chronos, Steady-state Fluorescence and Lifetime Spectrometer

The ISS Chronos is a modular spectrometer designed for both steady-state and time-domain (TCSPC) fluorescence measurements. It offers steady-state capabilities including fluorescence intensity, emission and excitation spectra, and fluorescence anisotropy (L-format). In time-domain (TCSPC) mode, it measures fluorescence lifetime and time-resolved anisotropy.
Additional features include a plate reader for both steady-state and time-domain spectroscopy, a computer-controlled double-syringe titrator for precise sample control, and a Paladini optical cell for high hydrostatic pressure experiments.
